Gurney's Inn is located in Montauk, NY, about 110 miles from New York City. The inn is easily accessible via a simple driving route listed below. Should you opt for other transportation methods, please visit our Transportation Information page.

Take the Long Island Expressway east to Exit 70 then straight south to Route 27 (Sunrise Highway) then east again toward Montauk. At Southampton, the road becomes two lanes and passes through a number of "Hampton" villages.

Leaving Amagansett, you will enter upon a straight stretch of road called the Napeague Highway (still Route 27). About six miles past Amagansett on the left, you will see a tall radio tower—clearly visible for miles by day, and with flashing red lights at night. Two miles further east at the fork in the road, BE SURE TO BEAR RIGHT onto Old Montauk Highway. Remember we are on the ocean, and the ocean is on the right! Gurney's Inn is two miles east of the fork.

Please Note: If you are using a GPS device to assist with directions to Gurney’s Inn, please be aware that there are two 290 Old Montauk Hwy locations in Montauk.  We are the location before (west of) the hamlet of Montauk not after it.
